I use that method when pulling them when theyre not stuck, as its faster than the tool. Usually just takes a little tap, but the ones ive had stick took some decent whacks with a 4 lb hammer. I found them stuck in the injector hole base at the bottom. I have tried ever tool to separate the washer from the base but with no luck. Has anyone experienced this and how did you resolve it? Tighten to 24 Nm (18 lb-ft). Connect the volume control valve electrical connector at the top of the high-pressure fuel injection pump.
