I was going to just buy the 32mm from harbor freight for $5 but decided in getting the whole mm set for $25, good thing too because the caliper bracket is larger than the sockets in my tool kit... WebNov 21, 2011 · Re: 7.5 to 8.8 swap. The 28 spline 8.8 has the same size axle tubes as the 7.5; heck, they even use the same axle shafts. The only difference in the 7.5 and 8.8 28 spline is the center section of the axle. The 31 spline 8.8 has larger diameter axle tubes and obviously 31 spline axle shafts.

And weld on some shock mounts and that's about it. OR....just shock tabs if you want to lower the back 5". You can leave the Expo perches right where they are.
